A from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Youth Office highlights a growing intergenerational leadership gap across politics and business. Yet, there is a widespread belief that greater collaboration would enhance leadership effectiveness and drive better performance.

Despite significant momentum behind the youth agenda, young people are often relegated to the sidelines of major global summits and highly curated events. This often means that the authentic voices of young people, in all their diversity, are not well-reflected in global decision-making spaces.

In this context, Project Everyone and the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Youth Office have set out to refresh the intergenerational event format alongside global moments like the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵGA) to foster more authentic encounters.

Unscripted is a new, regular, youth-centered event series held alongside major global moments. Unscripted will be a welcoming, relaxing, creative and lightly curated space where a diverse group of local and international young people can gather to share, connect, and explore the issues that matter to them.

They¡¯ll be joined by a select group of ¡°³¦´Ç²Ô²Ô±ð³¦³Ù´Ç°ù²õ¡± ¡ª business, philanthropy and policy leaders ¡ª who will prompt discussions, weave connections, and be open to challenge.

Unscripted will stand apart from conventional summit formats:

  • Powerful not performative
  • Participatory not prescriptive
  • Driven by youth insight
  • Supported by connectors who believe in intergenerational leadership for progress

Each event will carry a central ethos of hope, with the specific theme determined by participating youth close to the date, ensuring authenticity, relevance, and agency.
