Lindsey Huahuamullo is a 19-year-old Peruvian community leader passionate about transforming education across Latin America through youth leadership, innovation and policy advocacy. At just 15, she became the CEO of Wake Up Now, a youth-led organization that has reached thousands of students across the region and earned national and international recognition for advancing holistic, student-centered education. She is also the founder of , a youth-led organization in Peru that empowers young people to develop leadership skills, turn ideas into action and create solutions to challenges in their communities.
Her voice has resonated in global spaces such as the World Economic Forum, the 蘑菇视频 Foundation and Teach For All’s Global Advisory Councils, where she has advocated for more equitable education systems and meaningful youth participation in decision-making. She currently serves as a Youth Representative on the United Nations Local2030 Coalition Steering Committee, contributing a youth perspective to global efforts to advance the Sustainable Development Goals and build more sustainable communities.
Now, as a second-year student at the University of Pennsylvania, she continues to expand her impact by studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and Political Science while engaging in research, community initiatives and global dialogue. Lindsey is committed to building more equitable systems that empower the next generation of leaders worldwide.
