Noor Fawaz Hijazi is a Palestinian lawyer and researcher specializing in international law, human rights, and diplomacy. She holds an LL.M. in International Law and Diplomacy, where her research examined cultural genocide under public international law.
Her work focuses on Youth, Peace and Security, human rights, youth participation in governance and decision-making, peacebuilding, and legal and policy issues affecting communities in conflict and displacement. She contributes to several advisory and policy bodies, including the Youth Advisory Panel in Palestine, and serves on the Board of the Social Cohesion and Civil Peace Network and the Steering Committee of the Youth Change Makers project with the Women’s Affairs Technical Committee.
Noor is also a trainer and facilitator, delivering capacity-building programmes on a range of legal, human rights, and peacebuilding topics, including family protection, violence prevention, elections and civic participation, mediation, Youth, Peace and Security, youth-led initiatives, and social cohesion.
