Shamah Bulangis is a young feminist activist dedicated to promoting gender equality, educational transformation, human rights, and youth empowerment based in Dumaguete, Philippines. She started her activism at 14 as a Peer Educator on Violence Against Women in Northeastern Mindanao. Currently, Shamah serves as Co-Chair of Transform Education, hosted by the United Nations Girls' Education Initiative. is a coalition of youth-led networks working to transform education for gender equality through advocacy, capacity building, and solidarity.

Shamah has also served as the Advocacy and Monitoring Coordinator and member of the Civil Society Global Reference Group of the committed to ending violence against women and girls. Shamah is also the Co-Founder of , a non-hierarchical, young women-led organization based in Dumaguete City, Philippines. Through Girls Congress, she has led the creation of the Visayas Young Feminist Climate Manifesto with a 5-point agenda on Climate and Gender in consultation with young people and in partnership with climate and gender youth-led organizations from the different islands in Visayas. They also co-led with Gender Watch Against Violence and Exploitation (GWAVE) the Visayas-wide Regional Consultation for the National Beijing+30 CSO Shadow Report for the Philippines.
