This new report highlights how United Nations Police (Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµPOL) and Member States are working together to promote gender equality and strengthen the role of women in policing and peace operations. It also shows how these efforts support the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's Women, Peace and Security Agenda and broader commitments to peace, security, and sustainable development.

In 2025, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµPOL focused on three key areas:

Making policing more gender-responsive by ensuring the different needs and experiences of women, men, girls, and boys are considered in policing policies, training, and daily operations.
