Press releases are an important medium for diplomatic signaling.? Diplomatic Pulse is a specialized search engine that pools together official press releases from all United Nations Member States and regional organizations. This publicly available digital tool, created by the Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (DPPA) and the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), allows users to see at a glance which country issued a statement on what topic and when. Users can easily modify their searches according to different parameters. Diplomatic Pulse can also give an overview of trending themes. Since its launch in 2021, Diplomatic Pulse has been serving thousands of users and contributing to promoting the visibility of statements issued by Member States.

Thanks to improvements in its AI-enabled technology, the newest version of Diplomatic Pulse is equipped with advanced search functions as well as options to download results in Generative AI-friendly formats (CSV, TXT, JSON). These enhancements further amplify diplomatic voices and make international discourse more transparent and accessible.
