Since 2011, the Secretary-General has held an Annual Memorial Service to honour colleagues from United Nations Secretariat entities, as well as Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA, IOM, and funds and programmes, who lost their lives in the line of duty in the previous year.
This year¡¯s Annual Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, 19 July, to honour those fallen colleagues who lost their lives in the line of duty during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2022.
The Memorial Service will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
A live broadcast will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
It offers a solemn opportunity to remember our fallen colleagues and reflect on their legacies.
