Every year in October, as Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ staff and delegates recover from a hectic General Assembly, it¡¯s go-time for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Exhibits! ?

The work of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Exhibits graces?the Visitor's Lobby, including artwork, photographs, and multimedia displays.

The exhibitions, which are open to the public, serve as platforms to highlight important Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ topics such as human rights, the environment, women and girls, peace and security, and sustainable development.

There are three galleries in the Visitor's Lobby, where the exhibits rotate every 6 to 8 weeks. If you do the math, that¡¯s over 18 exhibits per year!

And that¡¯s not all! We offer virtual exhibits, too.

Organizers can choose between a physical exhibit, a virtual exhibit, or a combination of both. The added perk is that virtual exhibits come at no cost and remain on the website for over a year.

Two of the exhibits currently on display are:

  • Melkadida: Refugee Life Through the Eyes of Children,?a photographic and mental health programme aimed at giving voice to refugee and displaced children who had fled conflict.

  • Signs of Compassion?asks?visitors to consider how different modes of expression can instill a sense of empathy. It includes thoughtful installations inspired by poetry and?an interactive sculpture expressing the poem in Braille.
