Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Postal Administration?issued six postage stamps featuring World Heritage sites in T¨¹rkiyeon on 8 September.
After a devastating earthquake struck Syria and T¨¹rkiye earlier in the year, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ pledged its support and assistance to these countries. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Postal Administration hopes that by issuing these stamps they bring awareness to the importance of the protection and preservation of these beautiful sites and show?solidarity with?the country and people of T¨¹rkiye.

Three beautifully designed?English, French, and German prestige booklets accompany?the stamp series. The booklets feature colourful photographs and detailed information about these sites.
The stamps and prestige booklets were designed by Rorie Katz of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµPA.
For many years, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµPA has highlighted World Heritage sites recognized by the which seeks to encourage the identification, protection, and preservation of cultural and natural heritage around the world in recognition of their outstanding value to humanity.
This is embodied in the , which was adopted by Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµESCO in 1972.
The stamps are available online at and in-person from shops at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ headquarters in New York, Geneva, and Vienna where the stamps can be used for mailing.
