Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Environment Programme (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵEP) has appointed Amber Valletta as its newest Goodwill Ambassador, announcing the designation during the 80th session of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly in New York. A longtime advocate for sustainable fashion and environmental action, Valletta will help spotlight the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
She said the role carries both honor and responsibility, and has pledged to use her platform to advance urgent environmental solutions and inspire collective action. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵEP Executive Director Inger Andersen welcomed Valletta¡¯s appointment, highlighting her leadership in ethical fashion and her ability to connect culture with climate advocacy. Valletta, who has
promoted sustainability through initiatives such as Master & Muse and her work with major fashion platforms, will support Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵEP¡¯s efforts to raise awareness and drive action toward a more just and sustainable future.
