On 15 June 2022, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAOC) and the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations convened a ¡°Briefing on Efforts on Combating Antisemitism". The Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme was invited to present its work. The briefing was attended by members of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ diplomatic corps and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ-associated NGOs.
The meeting aimed to present efforts by relevant stakeholders to combat antisemitism including across the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ system, and explore ways to develop a system-wide response on combating antisemitism across the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ system. The briefing served as an opportunity to present the EU Strategy on Combating Antisemitism and Fostering Jewish Life (2021-2030) adopted by the European Commission on 5 October 2021.
