WESP 2015: Global economy to improve marginally

Mr. Pingfan Hong, Director of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ DESA¡¯s Development Policy and Analysis Division, shares the latest forecast for the global economy and some of the major findings from the World Economic Situation and Prospects (WESP) 2015 released on 19 January 2015.

The report features global and regional economic forecasts for 2015 and 2016, as well as risks and uncertainties in the near term. It also provides detailed analysis on international trade and international finance.

The report is produced at the beginning of each year by Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ DESA, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Conference on Trade and Development (Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµCTAD), the five Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ regional commissions and the World Tourism Organisation (Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµWTO).
