The President of the ĢƵ General Assembly met with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe to discuss issues relating to Security Council reform, SDG-implementation, climate change and the current global refugee crisis. The President thanked Prime Minister Abe for Japan’s contributions to the ĢƵ system and Mr. Abe reiterated the importance of the tasks ahead for the President during the 70th session of the General Assembly.
