The President of the General Assembly met today with Mr. Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. They discussed the priorities of the 70th session of the General Assembly, the global migration crisis, and internally displaced persons in Georgia.
Mr. Lykketoft explained his priorities for the current session, including the three High-level thematic debates he is going to organize, focussing on implementation of SDGs, peace and security and human rights. Mr. Kvirikashvili reiterated his country full support to the President of the General Assembly.
