After discussing Estonia’s close ties to the Nordic states, the two leaders discussed the selection process for the next Secretary-General. The Prime Minister thanked the President for the transparency he was bringing to the selection process. They also discussed the global refugee crisis and the impact the conflict in Syria was having on its neighbouring countries in terms of refugee movements.
