Election of President for the 72nd session of the ĢƵ General Assembly
Media stakeout by President-elect to follow election at approx 11:15 am
ĢƵITED NATIONS, 30 May 2017 – Tomorrow, on Wednesday 31 May, at 10:00 am the ĢƵ General Assembly will meet to elect the President of the 72nd session of the ĢƵ General Assembly.
H.E. Mr. Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, has been nominated for the position.
Following the election, the President-elect will hold a brief media stakeout outside the General Assembly Hall at approximately 11:15 am.
