The President of the 72nd session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?ák, met today with H.E Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. They discussed the ongoing processes related to the global compact on safe, orderly and regular migration; United Nations reform; and sustaining peace and preventive diplomacy. The President welcomed Bahrain’s commitments to human development and its focus on people, including in terms of gender equality and education.
