The President of the 72nd session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?ák, met today with H.E. Mr. Mevlüt ?avu?o?lu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. They discussed mutual priorities including peace and conflict prevention, humanitarian issues, United Nations reform and regional developments. The President of the General Assembly welcomed Turkey’s commitment to contribute to United Nations efforts to promote mediation, to address the needs of refugees and migrants, and to support the least developed countries.
