The President of the 72nd?session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?ák, met today with H.E. Mr. Abdelkader Messahel, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria.
They discussed the ongoing processes related to the global compact on safe, orderly and regular migration; United Nations reform; and sustaining peace and preventive diplomacy.
They also discussed issues related to the political situation and peace efforts in Africa and the Sahel region.? The President of the General Assembly thanked Algeria for providing support to his office.
