Today the President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?ák, met with the President of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Judge Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi. They discussed the activities of the Court over the last year. President Laj?ák underlined the important role of the ICC in the international system and its contribution to strengthening accountability, protecting human rights and promoting the rule of law.
The General Assembly will consider the annual report of the International Criminal Court on Monday, 31 October 2017.
