Monday, 29 January

The President of the General Assembly will convene a briefing by the Co-Chairs of the multi-stakeholder forum on science, technology and innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals
at 3 p.m. in Conference Room 3.

The Department of Field Support and the Department of Peacekeeping Operations will provide an informal briefing (closed) to members of the Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Conference Room 2.

Tuesday, 30 January

The President of the General Assembly will hold his second in a series of monthly?chats on “Youth for a Sustainable Planet”. The chat will be live for 30 minutes from 11.00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and questions can be sent in advance. Tweet??to join the conversation.

The President of the General Assembly will address the opening segment of the ECOSOC Youth Forum on the topic “The role of youth in building sustainable and resilient societies”. The ECOSOC Youth Forum will open at 10 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber and will continue the following day.

 

Wednesday, 31 January

The President of the General Assembly will address the United Nations Holocaust Memorial Ceremony.?The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. in the United Nations General Assembly Hall.

The Department of Field Support and the Department of Peacekeeping Operations will provide informal briefings (closed) to members of the Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations on Conduct and Discipline including Sexual Exploitation and Abuse; and Mine Action.

 

Thursday, 1 February

An informal meeting (closed) of the plenary on the intergovernmental negotiations on the question of equitable representation on and increase in the membership of the Security Council and other matters related to the Council will be held in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.

 

Friday, 2 February

The second day of an informal meeting (closed) of the plenary on the intergovernmental negotiations on the question of equitable representation on and increase in the membership of the Security Council and other matters related to the Council will be held in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
