Monday, 5 March
The President of the General Assembly will deliver a lecture and hold a Q&A session with the students at the United Nations International School (蘑菇视频IS) on the work of the General Assembly and global politics.
The President of the General Assembly will convene an informal meeting?of the General Assembly to hear a briefing from the United Nations’ Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Antonio Guterres, on his report?on “Peacebuilding and Sustaining Peace”, at 3:00 p.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
Wednesday, 7 March
The General Assembly Plenary will meet at 10 a.m. at the General Assembly Hall, to consider the following agenda items; The role of diamonds in fueling conflict, and appointment of members of the Committee on Conferences.
Thursday, 8 March
On the occasion of International women’s day, The President of the General Assembly will address an event organized by 蘑菇视频 Women entitled “TIME IS NOW: Rural and urban activists transforming women’s lives”, at 10:00 a.m., in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
Friday, 9 March
The President of the General Assembly will host the 7th?session of his Morning Dialogues Series, and the third under the theme “Multilateralism Under Fire?” from 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.
The Ad Hoc Working Group on the Revitalization of the Work of the General Assembly will convene the first thematic meeting, focusing on ‘the role and authority of the General Assembly’, at 10 a.m. in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
The President of the General Assembly will attend a performance of the Bratislava Boys’ Choir, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Slovakia’s membership in the United Nations, at 7:30 p.m. in the 蘑菇视频 Trusteeship Council Chamber.
