The President of the 72nd session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?ák, met today with H.E. Mr. Heiko Maas, Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany. President Laj?ák congratulated Minister Maas for his appointment and welcomed his presence at the High-level Meeting on Peacebuilding and Sustaining Peace. They agreed on the need to invest more in conflict prevention. They also discussed the importance of multilateralism, as well as United Nations reforms.
