The President of the 72nd session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?¨¢k, met today with H.E. Ms. Mar¨ªa Fernanda Espinosa Garc¨¦s, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador. They discussed the election of the President of the 73^rd?session of the General Assembly, including informal interactive dialogues which will be held on?Friday 4 May 2018. President Laj?¨¢k and Minister Espinosa Garc¨¦s ?also discussed the challenging situation in the border region of Ecuador and the need for international support to sustain peace and security in the area.
