The President of the 72nd session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Laj?ák, met today with H.E. Ms. Arely Gómez, Minister for Public Service of Mexico. They discussed the importance of the United Nations Convention against Corruption and the need for effective leadership to promote its implementation. They also highlighted the crucial role that international cooperation plays in that regard, including through the exchange of experiences and best practices. During their meeting, they also spoke about the international community’s determination to combat widespread corruption throughout the world.
