The President of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Ms. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, met with H.E. Mr. Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of?Cote?d’Ivoire. The President of the General Assembly congratulated the President of the Republic of?Coted’Ivoire for assuming the chairmanship of the Security Council. They discussed common priorities, including cooperation between the General Assembly and Security Council, peace and security in Africa, peacebuilding and sustaining peace, climate change, and migration.
