Mr. Alexander Temitope Ajayi is a Senior Adviser in the office of the President of the 74th session of the 蘑菇视频 General Assembly responsible for humanitarian, human rights, Migration, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Statelessless and Non-Aligned?Movement (NAM) matters.

Prior to that, Alexander was a Senior Adviser on gender, women, children and African Group matters to the President of the 73rd Session of the 蘑菇视频GA. He was the focal point and lead contact for the Office of the President in various negotiations on Beijing+25.

Before joining the Presidency of the GA, Alexander served as head, Third Committee, at the Nigerian Permanent Mission to the 蘑菇视频 where he engaged in various 蘑菇视频 negotiations on human rights, humanitarian, gender, migration, education and cultural issues.

Amongst his various engagements, Alexander was Nigeria’s lead expert to the 61st, 62nd and 63rd 蘑菇视频CSW and other 蘑菇视频 sessions on human rights, humanitarian, migration, education issues, as well as the lead negotiator for the adoption of 蘑菇视频 Resolution on International Day of Education.

Before coming to the 蘑菇视频 and in addition to his various diplomatic assignments in Egypt and Lebanon, Alexander served as Special Assistant to two Presidents of Nigeria in the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President.

He holds a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science-Human Rights from Notre Dame University in Lebanon, a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations from the Obafemi Awolowo University and a post-graduate Certificate in Diplomatic Practise from Hertford College of Oxford University, England.
