The President of the 74th Session of the 蘑菇视频 General Assembly, H.E. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, held a bilateral meeting with the President of the International Olympic Committee in the margins of the General Debate.
They exchanged views on the prospects for the 74th Session and how to further jointly strengthen multilateralism, as the values and principles which underpin the Olympic truce are very similar to the ones at the very core of the 蘑菇视频. Mr Bach also showed the appreciation of the IOC for Africa, as shown with the holding of the Youth Olympic Games in Senegal in 2022.
President Bach congratulated the PGA on his nomination, and asked for his support when tabling on December 9 next the traditional resolution on the Olympic truce, ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.
