The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with H.E. Evarist Bartolo, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Malta.
Minister Bartolo expressed support to the priorities of the President of the General Assembly for the session, focusing on climate change, gender and COVID-19.
The President provided details of further steps to promote gender equality and informed the Minister about his Youth Fellowship Programme.?
The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
