The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met today with Mr. Eliot Minchenberg, Director, a.i., of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵESCO Liaison Office in New York and Representative to the United Nations.
During the meeting, President Shahid and Director Minchenberg discussed potential areas of collaborations as Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵESCO¡¯s work resonates with the priorities of the Presidency of Hope.
The President noted the importance of galvanizing synergies between the General Assembly and other organisations.
President Shahid and Director Minchenberg also discussed topics of science, oceans and climate change.
