On 20 May 2022, the President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid held a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Dr. Zoran Tegeltija, who was visiting New York on the occasion of the inaugural International Migration Review Forum, held from 17-20 May 2022.?

The President?congratulated Bosnia and Herzegovina the 30^th?anniversary of its membership in the United Nations and?commended?its?active role in the work of the General Assembly.?Parties discussed the progress in the implementation of the Global Compact on Migration, stressed the success of the first IMRF, and the importance of its outcome document ¨C the Progress Declaration. The Chairman of Council of Ministers reaffirmed Bosnia and Herzegovina¡¯s continued support to the Presidency of Hope and its priorities during the remaining part of the seventy-sixth session.

The meeting took place in the President¡¯s office at the United Nations Headquarters.
