The President of the 76th?session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid met?with?Ms. Silvia Patricia Valdés Quezada,?President of the Judicial Branch on?14 July 2022.
The President?commended Ms. Silvia Patricia in her capacity as the President of the Judicial Branch?and?her work on the?empowerment of women.?He also?commended?Guatemala for having women leaders at top positions.
Both sides?discussed?relevant topics such?as the Court of Justice’s critical role in contributing to good governance, access to justice?and helping advance peace.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala, Mr. Mario Adolfo?Búcaro?Flores?also attended the meeting.
The meeting took place at the Supreme Court of Justice, Guatemala City.
