The President will be back at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Headquarters on Monday.
Another busy week, let me go over it.

WEEK AHEAD
Staring on Monday, 8 May and Tuesday, 9 May, in the Trusteeship Council Chamber, there will be interactive multistakeholder hearings on the high-level health-related meetings that will be held during the high-level week of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµGA in September 2023.
Those are ending tuberculosis; pandemic prevention, preparedness and response; and universal health coverage.

As part of the hearings, President K?r?si will speak to all of you, at a stakeout on the second floor by the Trusteeship Council ¨C where the hearings will take place ¨C on Tuesday, 9 May, after the morning session ends, around 1PM. He will be joined by the co-facilitators of the three General Assembly negotiations related to health.
Since he will be speaking out there, I will not be speaking to you here.

Among the President¡¯s activities, he will visit the exhibit on Argania. A special event for the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ to celebrate the International Day will be held that same day. There is information in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Journal.

Thursday, 11 May, in the Trusteeship Council Chamber¡
There will be an informal dialogue on Middle Income Countries.
The theme is ¡°Accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in middle-income countries, with a focus on the environmental dimension¡±.
The aim is to take stock of the gaps and challenges of middle-income countries in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, and promote implementation of the SDGs through practical, evidence- and science-based solutions.
The event will be in-person and webcast on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ WebTV.

Friday, 12 May, in the Trusteeship Council Chamber¡
There will be the interactive dialogue with the candidate for the Presidency of the 78th session.
This will be held ahead of the election of the new President on 1 June.
There is currently one candidate, that is
GENDER CAMPAIGN
And we wanted to highlight additional Member States who have signed on to the President¡¯s campaign to support gender equality.
Staff at these Permanent Missions of Bangladesh and the Czech Republic have pledged to complete the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ training on promoting gender equality and preventing sexual harassment.
Bringing the total to 19, including the EU delegation.
