Hungary makes the Counter-Terrorism Committee’s assessment visit report public
On 23 July 2026, published the on the June 2025 visit conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate (CTED) on behalf of the Counter-Terrorism Committee. Pursuant to the relevant resolutions of the Security Council, CTED conducted its first comprehensive visit on behalf of the Committee to Hungary, from 16 to 18 June 2025, to monitor and promote its implementation of Security Council resolutions , , , , and and other relevant Council resolutions.

CTED at side events for 2026 Counter-Terrorism Week
The Fourth United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week will be held from Friday, 26 June to Thursday, 2 July 2026. The theme is “A Future Free from Terrorism: Consolidating the Global Commitment to Multi-Stakeholder Approaches to Counter Terrorism through Member States’ Leadership and Action,” and will be complemented by a number of side events, which will facilitate discussion of key counter-terrorism priorities under the four pillars of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy.
