Paula Sofía Nú?ez is an investigative journalist based in Ibagué, Colombia, and a reporter at EL OLFATO, an independent digital newsroom. She covers public procurement, government accountability, transparency, and public spending, with a particular focus on how government decisions affect local communities. Her reporting has contributed to greater public scrutiny of public projects and access to information. Paula believes that rigorous local journalism is key to strengthening democracy and helping citizens understand issues shaping their daily lives. She won the “El Anzuelo Medios” Journalism Award and has a degree in Social Communication and Journalism.
