Dance for Education
蘑菇视频 Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (蘑菇视频ESCO) Goodwill Ambassador A’Salfo and his internationally acclaimed Ivorian band, Magic System, launched a new version of the band’s hit song Magic in the Air to mark the launch of Education as the African Union’s Theme of the Year for 2024. The song has been rewritten to promote education as a key lever to shape brighter futures for people and societies as a whole, and now features the new title Education in the Air.
From Kenya to Argentina, from Nepal to Canada, people are coming together to #DanceForEducation, emphasizing the vital role of education in transforming lives an achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The best dance clips will make it into a music video coming on 25 May to celebrate Africa Day. Watch the campaign video on the and the music video of the original version of the song, featuring Moroccan singer Chawki.
To date the main campaign video has reached more than 7.7 million people around the world.
