Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly President Mr. Mogens Lykketoft today addressed the members of the EU Political and Security Committee.
In his address, Mr. Lykketoft stressed the importance of a strong implementation of the SDGs and the role the EU can play. He elaborated on the current refugee crisis, the on-going conflicts and the global humanitarian challenges. Mr. Lykketoft also briefed the audience on the upcoming selection of the next Secretary-General.
The address was followed by some remarks from participants, in which Mr. Lykketoft was praised for his efficiency, openness and transparency.
