The President of the 76th?session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, today met with?H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi, Secretary General of ASEAN.
The President?underlined the importance of partnership between the 蘑菇视频 and?regional organizations and?commended ASEAN for its?active role in the region, including?its?efforts to?engage with Myanmar.
The Secretary-General?shared with?President Shahi developments?in ASEAN and ASEAN-蘑菇视频?cooperation.?For his part,?President Shahid noted that ASEAN is the region to which he will have traveled most upon completion of this term in September.
Among other topics discussed?were?COVID recovery and vaccination, and the food crisis stemming from Russia’s aggression in Ukraine.
The meeting took place in?the?Bali?Nusa Dua?Convention Center.
