The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock met H.E. Mr. Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa on Sunday, 21 September 2025.
They discussed the importance of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and ensuring meaningful Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ reform, including of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Security Council. They further discussed South Africa¡¯s G20 Presidency within the context of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Charter and multilateralism, the situation in the Middle East, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ80 reform, and the need to strengthen?the?Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ.
