The independent final evaluation of the Project ¡°Strengthening the Counter-Terrorism Capacity of Member States in Africa, Through the Development of National Training Programmes and Counter-Terrorism Training Curricula¡± assessed the performance of the two-year project (2022-2023) in terms of its relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability, and the extent to which the project integrated human rights, gender, leave no one behind, and disability inclusion. The evaluation found that the project delivered satisfactorily on the evaluation criteria and generated five recommendations in areas requiring improvement, particularly in project monitoring and evaluation systems and tools, which will guide future programming in counter-terrorism investigations.
