The 2016 United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAOC) Fellowship Program is now open for applications from emerging leaders and young professionals from Europe, North America (EÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA), the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Since 2010, the annual Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAOC Fellowship Program has been offering participants the opportunity to foster intercultural dialogue and interfaith understanding by providing first hand exposure to diversity and the chance to experience cultural immersion while interacting with a wide range of actors and partners from EÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA and MENA.
This year, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵAOC Fellowship Program will focus on education as a tool to?prevent radicalization and xenophobia. Fifteen emerging leaders from EÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵA and 15 from MENA will be invited to travel to the others' region for 10 days to meet and exchange ideas with key decision makers, grassroots organizations, media, local communities and religious groups.
